Judging slot - FAQs

What if I am a finalist in more than one category?

You will be required to attend a judging slot per successful entry. We recommend booking your judging slot as quickly as possible as slots are booked on a first-come, first-served basis.

How many people can attend the judging day presentation?

Technology Innovation/Organisation/Project Excellence - No more than two representatives per entry. (For Project Excellence one representative must be the end user).

For Personal Excellence - only the Individual Finalist can be interviewed.

What are the judges looking for?

Each of the categories has defined criteria that entrants must answer. Just as in a job application the judges are looking for hard evidence that the entry has addressed the criteria.

You should aim to provide measures of success and quotes from customers and/or users.

The key question to ask yourself is “can someone read this entry once and understand what we have achieved and why it deserves to win?” If the answer is no then re-work it.

How many judges will I be presenting to?

There may be up to three judges on your panel. All judges will be listed on our website before the judging day.

How long will my judging session last?A total of 25 minutes has been allocated for each judging slot.
